Sleepy Hollow Rocking Horses
WELCOME ! My name is Carl Shepard from Swannanoa NC. I build beautiful wood rocking horses. Starting with just the wood, I cut, sand and assemble each piece that goes into my rocking horses. I then hand paint each horse with bright and whimsical designs. A full , fluffy and colorful mane and tail of durable yard in added. Finally a minimum of 6 coats of poly-urethane is applied to produce a durable and deep gloss finish.. Each horse is unique and its own work of art. Delightful for any child to ride and a great heirloom.
