Oakland Cottage Bed & Breakfast
Oakland Cottage is an historic "Arts & Crafts" style home, circa 1910, allegedly designed by Richard Sharp Smith. The 5,000 square ft "cottage" has been naturally broken into private & roomy Suites, yet the integrity, spacious feel and character of this lovely historic home has been maintained with each renovation. The additional open common areas add to the spacious, warm & convenient experience. With a capacity for up to 20 overnight guests, The Whole Cottage is perfect to rent in its entirety (minus the In Keepers' Apartment) for wedding groups, small retreat style meetings, family and friend gatherings: - Three spacious two-room Suites $125 to $145 per night (double occupancy) -Two lovely rooms $90 - $95 nightly (double occupancy - For more than 2 guests, add $10.00 per guest per night. - Each Suite has two rooms, with private full bath, Cable TV, and coffee-maker - Some Suites include a mini-fridge & microwave and private back deck. - Modem access is conveniently located in common areas upstairs and downstairs - On-site laundry facilities & full amenity kitchen available for your use. - Large common areas inside and out available to all our guests. - Light, self-serve breakfast (coffee, teas, juice, fruits, yogurts & cereals) available in the common dining area each morning - or eat in the privacy of your Suite's breakfast nook. - Add 11% NC State & Accommodation taxes to totals. - Buy your Biltmore Estate Tickets on site, for your convenience. Advance Reservations: There is a 2 night minimum stay requirement on weekends. All rooms require a one nights room rate to hold the reservation. This fee is refundable, MINUS a $25.00 booking fee, up until 7 days in advance of the reservation date. Within 7 days, payment is due in full and is non-refundable. Reservations made within 7 days of the reservation date need be paid in full at the time of the booking and are non-refundable. Within the 7 day notice the 2 night minimum may be waived, based on availability. Reserving The Whole Cottage: When reserving the entire Cottage (all suites rooms & common spaces), a 50% payment is required to hold the reservation and is refundable, MINUS a $35.00 booking fee 60 days or more in advance of the reservation date. WITHIN 60 days, payment is due in full and is non-refundable. Whole Cottage reservations made within 60 days of the reservation date are due in full and are non-refundable.
