NorthLodge on Oakland

The North Lodge features rooms for every budget and every taste.

Magnolia Room

During your stay adopt the enormous 100 year old magnolia tree outside your window! The popular Magnolia Room features mahogany furniture and a gas fireplace, creating a warm, elegant look. The walls are papered in a dusky pink floral with a pale green rope border. The queen bed skirt, window treatments, and screen in a bright floral pattern add brightness to this, our most popular room, located on the second floor of the Lodge.

Marsh Retreat

This is the largest room in the house, featuring a plush king size bed.1 Named for Herb & Lois Marsh, the inn's renovators and former owners, this third floor room provides an airy, spacious treetop place with a darling balcony overlooking our gardens. An Asheville theme is seen in the art on the walls, and a sitting area with two easy chairs helps you relax after a busy day. A make-up dresser area is located on the way to the ample bathroom.

Geranium Room

What a cheery room, perfect for your getaway! A delightful queen size bed is the focal point of this intimate enclave, located on the second floor. Pure white walls provide the background for the dramatic red and gold fabrics. A built-in armoire provides closet space and a hiding place for the TV/DVD, while the window boxes at each window are home to dozens of geraniums to brighten your morning! An overstuffed chair comforts you after a long day exploring, and the bathroom sports a claw-foot tub salvaged from the restoration. (The fireplace is ornamental.)

Carolina Room

"Nothing Could Be Finer Than ..." this warm and spacious bedroom. Let the dawn gently awaken you to a comfortable and wonderful homey feeling. Carolina blue, rose and honey tones accent the wallpaper, while a queen size four-poster bed adds a touch of romance to this very charming room on the second floor. The club chairs in front of the gas fireplace are ideal for shoes-off book reading, while a skylight adds a nice touch in the bathroom! Isn't it time to get away from it all?

Tiffany Room

Ahh. . . sink into comfy chairs, put your feet up and enjoy this newly redecorated suite sequestered away in the rear of the house on the second floor! This room is very popular with honeymooners and others who seek the ultimate in privacy and seclusion. The Tiffany-style lamps and Asheville artwork bring a touch of elegance to both rooms, while the custom-made king size bedą gives you plenty of room. What an ideal place for your Asheville stay!
