Handmade Paper
Handmade paper lends itself to a variety of uses. Use it for charming memory book and photo displays or collages, and to give letters that special touch.
Many papers are recycled from my own recycling bin, and some use made-from-scratch fiber from the plants in our own backyard.
Whether recycling mail, creating paper from wildcrafted plants, or recreating mountain vistas, I am guided by my respect for the mountains.

Herbarium
This hand-bound herbarium is a collection of handmade herb papers. (Only 3 of 11 signed, limited edition copies remain for sale). Each paper began as 75% recycled and 25% abaca fibers. A different herb was added to each pulp to create unique papers highlighting the color, texture and intensity of each herb. Each paper is then placed with a vellum overlay featuring an antique-style line drawing of the plant used. Volume One includes twelve herbs: goldenseal, chaparral, nettle, parsley, violet, skullcap, oregon grape root, cornsilk, chestnut leaves, saffron, mullein, and oat straw.
