Max Patch Retreat
Max Patch Retreat is a 4-bedroom, 2-bath vacation home atop Rich Mountain on the Tennessee-North Carolina state line, near Max Patch Mountain in Pisgah National Forest. Situated at an elevation of 4,100 ft and just northeast of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, guests at the retreat enjoy cool summers, snowy winters, and clear, star-filled nights away from the city lights. Remote but comfortable, this almost new cedar-sided cottage features an 800 square-foot deck, 5-seat hot tub, and all the amenities, including a 25-inch color TV with satellite dish, VCR, dishwasher, washer and dryer, and linens. Just a few hundred yards from the Appalachian Trail and one mile from Max Patch Mountain, an endless variety of Smoky Mountain vistas and all manner of outdoor activities await you.

Max Patch Retreat
The Max Patch Retreat is a non-smoking indoor environment. You are welcome to smoke outside.
Pets are welcome, but an additional damage deposit is required.
WEEKLY RENTALS DURING PEAK SEASONS
As a rule, we will take reservations for weekly rentals ONLY for:
Memorial Day through Labor Day,
October, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
UNTIL 30 days before any date during these peak seasons.
Beginning 30 days before a date, you may reserve TWO nights or
more during these peak seasons. We have a two-night minimum in off-seasons.
RATES
A $100 deposit, refundable with 30 days notice (60 days for major holidays), is required for all reservations. You can pay by check or money order mailed to the address above, or you can charge this deposit to your Credit Card with Paypal at our main web site.
2 - 6 nights for 2 guests $120 per night
Additional guests $10 each
Weekly (7 nights) for 2 guests $720
Additional guests $60 each
An additional 7% North Carolina sales tax will be added
Pet fee: $25 per pet for any length stay
CHECK IN and CHECK OUT
The regular check-in time is 3 p.m. Check-out time is 11 a.m.
