Honeybee Handmade Jewelry
I began doing beadwork in 1986, inspired by Native American styles which reflected my desire for a connection with nature and with the past. Over the years I have dabbled in many different arts and crafts, and only recently have I rediscoverd a passion for beadwork. My newer work is more reflective of my own European heritage, with an ornate, swirling style reminiscent of art nouvea and victorian eras, but the connection with nature remains. I am constantly inspired by the colors and forms of the changing seasons, and I particularly love to create pieces based on flowers, trees, and other plants that capture my attention as I am passing by. My work is available at Woolworth Walk in downtown Asheville, through my website at honeybeehandmadejewelry.com and on etsy at honeybeejewelry.etsy.com. I am interested in more opportunities to show my work in galleries and shops; please e-mail me with any wholesale inquiries.
