CARDING & SPINNING Spinning wool was an important skill in the early days. The "great wheel" is a replica of my great-grandmother's wheel. The wheel and the chair are handmade primarily from oak. The cats are carved from basswood.

BANJO LADY Music was part of life for many mountain families and this tradition is still carried on today. The Banjo Lady is crafted from cornshuck and natural materials. The oak chair has a hand woven seat.
