Blaine House Bed & Breakfast
Blaine House was the former home of builder Charles Turner Blaine and his wife Minnie Ashe built in 1910. There is history on the home in the Heritage of Macon County, Volume I published in 1987. The home was purchased by the current owners in July of 1995, and after partial restoration, Blaine House Bed & Breakfast originated. What prompted the idea of doing a B&B was Suzy & Karin's inheritance of their respective family's antique furniture and heirlooms. They then decided to search the Western North Carolina area for an older home that would possibly make a wonderful B&B.

The original red and white oak floor and batten board wainscoted walls accentuate the antiquity of the room. Private bath/shower within suite. Cable TV with remote. Annie Mae's Suite
Romantic, bright & airy our guests appreciate the grace this large suite offers.???It is elegantly furnished with plush armchairs, lovely chandelier and a small alcove with an antique desk. Perfect for a couple celebrating an anniversary or on a honeymoon. The spacious private bath invites you to take a nice warm bubble bath in a 1925 pedestal foot tub.? Hair dryer provided in room.
