Aquaculture International, Inc., is a non-profit organization dedicated to the economically sound, environmentally compatable growth of the aquaculture industry through education, extension and the development of demonstration facilities. The founder and president is Charles W. Johnson who has been involved in aquaculture education and extension since 1971.

Aquaponics interest is increasing globally in response to more emphasis on resource management, sustainability and waste management. It involves combining of aquaculture and hydroponics for mutual benefit. The systems can be designed to be set up in almost any geographical area. The organizaton is preparing for the development of several practical and innovative demonstration facilities which are economically feasible and can be replicated by farmers, missionaries and other interested individuals. Plans include the involvement of disadvantaged persons. Jesus Christ is honored as the Head of the organization

A course entitled Sturgeon Culture will be conducted conditional upon sufficient interest. Many specialists agree that sturgeon culture will exprience great growth world wide during the next few years. The specific dates for this course will be announced later.
